Exist indexing problem

xml may not be valid.
webvibe/public_html/client/dbselect.php
paths are set for all the index files for the index files.
BUT there are valid xml files in:
  /home/webvibe/public_html/FNA_XML/
  /home/webvibe/public_html/bflyxml/

Remember that the index runs on the XML files, but should point to the the
html files for showing to the user. So, in the swishe configuration file.

Prairie Plants in openkey
-------------------------
The current records that are being produced with the openkey input screens
are going here: (there might be 8 records now).
/home/openkey/public_html/plant/taxon/xml

The diagram for the directories is here:

So, taxon files point to characterGroup, character, state, image,
imageInfo xml files. So all of the files have to be incorporated into the
Grand XML documents. But these grand xml files may have information we
don't want to index. For instance: bud_apex value is acute, but if
Displayfor is blank, we want to use the value for the Displayfor.

The xslt should:
if the displayfor is empty, then displayfor equals value.
Note: if the displayfor is "", then displayfor equals "" (not value).

But the problem with the underscored states for example: lowland_forest
should be indexed as 'lowland forest'. Quercus_alba should be indexed as
'Quercus alba'.

Idea:
xslt1 - to pull together the files from all the places into the Grand xml.
xslt2 - Exist would use to index
xslt3 - to produce the html
