Introduction to the course

During the first week there will be web board discussions about possible projects. A project may involve the construction of some learning technology, or research on the use of one.

You'll also begin your ePortfolio.
2Sep. 5 There will be both asynchronous and synchronous discussions about possible projects.

At Week 2 you'll have the initial version of your ePortfolio.

Learning Technologies 1: The Purposes of the Learner
4Sep. 19 By Week 4, you'll have the foundation for your project work in the form of your project proposal.
5Sep. 26 Synchronous session, 4:00-6:00 p.m., CST: Week 5

Learning Technologies 2: History.
6Oct. 3 Critiques of project proposals.
6.5Oct. 8On-campus session:
  1. Project presentations
  2. Learning 1: Assumptions
  3. Learning 3: Scaffolding (forbidden colors game)
  4. Choose among final units
7Oct. 10 (not required) Please post any reactions or questions from the on-campus session in the Week 7 board.
8Oct. 17 Synchronous session, 4:00-6:00 p.m., CST: Week 8
