An update on the development of the WaterCAMPWS Collaboratory, focusing on the bricks model. Bricks are components, which can be assembled to meet the needs of particular user groups. For example, a syllabus tool could be especially useful for the instructor and students in a course; a lab notebook for a research group; and a document center for either.

Part of the seminar will be devoted to a participatory design process in which attendees can help shape the design of the member/group profile system and the lab notebook.
