The Habanero® 2.0 API

This branch of the Habanero information space is only relevant to the developer porting a Java applet or application into a collaborative application using the Habanero API.

Habanero applications or Hablets come from a variety of sources. Some of the Hablets were previously known as applets; a few are converted Java applications and a couple were created from scratch. Even though the source code may come from different sources, they all take advantage of the Habanero framework. Hablets not only leverage the use of legacy code but the process of converting the existing code to the Habanero framework can be expedited through the use of the Habanero Wizard. Habanero's ability to make use of existing code is a huge advantage and should not be overlooked. Below you will find a variety of reference materials that will help you with creating, converting or extending an application to take advantage of the Habanero API.
